Position based at UK Head Office, Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Up to 2 days work from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity, from strategy development through to contract award.
  • Deliver cost savings, value improvements and risk mitigation across your portfolio.
  • Partner with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders to support business priorities.
  • Manage key supplier relationships, driving performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor market trends (e.g. energy and travel) to inform sourcing decisions.
Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a procurement role, ideally in service categories.
  • Impactful and adaptable negotiator capable of influencing key business stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Innovative thinker with ability to generate/deliver value-added procurement solutions that positively affect the performance of the business.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to measure and provide meaningful information to the wider business.
  • Effective and adaptable communicator.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Resilient and persistent.
  • Act at pace and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisation skills – capable of initiating, prioritising and managing several projects simultaneously.
Desirable
  • Experience in procurement for utilities, HR services or business services.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) membership or additional relevant postgraduate qualification.
Travel

Some travel to UK suppliers and potentially to Europe or abroad, approximately 2 days per month.
