This role is 40 hours per week, any 5 in 6 days including bank holidays. Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success. In this role you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers' doors, regardless of the weather. You will work within our coldstore that runs at -20ºC. Protective clothing designed for this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary. You will need to work as part of the wider team, always looking to help out the office team. We encourage movement between teams to provide flexibility, job satisfaction, personal development and knowledge of the whole business. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
  • Pick orders within the coldstore
  • Use our app to update customers on deliveries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
  • Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
  • Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
  • Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
  • Ensure customer confidentiality
  • Help the office team and picking team when required
  • Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
  • Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
  • Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience within a customer service-based role
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
  • Evidence of work stability
  • Basic secondary education

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience of multi-drop delivery role
  • Experience within a care-based role
