This position works 24 hours per week, any 3 in 6 days including bank holidays. Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success. In this role you will deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bring sunshine to our customers’ doors (no matter what the weather is doing). You will enjoy meeting people and always be willing to go above and beyond what is expected. Working within our coldstore that runs at a chilly -20ºc, you will be provided with protective clothing and breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary. You will work as part of the wider team, always looking to help out the office team, and we encourage movement between teams to provide flexibility, job satisfaction, personal development and knowledge of the whole business. £13.45 per hour + bonus + company benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner
  • Pick orders within the coldstore
  • Use our app to update customers’ deliveries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Undertake pre‑shift inspection of your van
  • Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
  • Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
  • Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
  • Ensure customer confidentiality
  • Help the office team and picking team when required
  • Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
  • Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
  • Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers

Essential Requirements

  • Experience within a customer service‑based role
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
  • Evidence of work stability
  • Basic secondary education

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience of multi‑drop delivery role
  • Experience within a care‑based role
  • Warehouse experience
