The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
This position works 15 hours per week, any 2 days out of 6 days including bank holidays. The role is based at our Wiltshire Farm Foods office and involves taking customer orders over the phone or via the internet and making outbound courtesy calls to elderly customers. Customers are predominantly elderly and may rely on us for daily contact, so empathy, patience, kindness, friendliness, care and warmth are essential qualities.
Responsibilities
- Take telephone and internet orders and make outbound calls to customers and prospects.
- Support drivers with route planning for upcoming delivery rounds.
- Ensure each customer receives exemplary service on every contact.
- Update customer records and liaise with customer relatives as required.
- Explain how to cook, store and re‑order meals to meet customer needs.
- Prepare and distribute promotional literature and inform customers about new products or promotions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Share best practices with colleagues to continuously improve our service proposition.
- Promote the benefits of WFF healthy and nutritious meals to all customers.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service role.
- Confident use of a personal computer to manage and process orders.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Numerate and good written English; GCSE Maths.
