Customer Delivery Driver/Picker

OverviewThis position is working 16 hours per week, any 2 in 6 days including bank holidays. Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.

In this role you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers doors (no matter what the weather is doing). You will enjoy meeting people and be willing to go above and beyond what is expected. You will work within our coldstore that runs at a chilly -20oC. Protective clothing designed for this temperature will be provided, with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary. You will work as part of the wider team, always looking to help out the office team. Salary : £13.05 per hour ( £13.45 per hour from 1st May 2026 ) + bonus + company benefits.

Responsibilities

Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner

Picking orders within the coldstore

Using our app to update customers deliveries

Delivering exceptional customer service at all times

Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van

Drive safely, responsibly and within the law

Clean and refuel your van as and when needed

Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays

Ensure customer confidentiality

Help the office team and picking team when required

Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues

Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday

Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers

Essential

Experience within a customer service-based role

Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps

Evidence of work stability

Basic secondary education

Desirable

Experience of multi-drop delivery role

Experience within a care-based role

Warehouse experience

Health & Safety awareness

Personal Qualities

Friendly, approachable and reliable

Passionate about delivering excellent customer service

Good attendance and timekeeping

You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years.

All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure. The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 provide that certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’ and do not need to be disclosed to employers. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimum requirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
