Working 16 hours per week, any 2 in 6 days including bank holidays.

Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with customers is crucial to our success. In this role you will deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bring sunshine to customers’ doors (no matter the weather). You will work in a coldstore at -20ºC, wearing protective clothing and taking breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
  • Pick orders within the coldstore
  • Use our app to update customer deliveries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
  • Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
  • Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
  • Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
  • Ensure customer confidentiality
  • Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
  • Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
  • Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience within a customer service‑based role
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
  • Evidence of work stability
  • Basic secondary education
  • Must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience of multi‑drop delivery role
  • Experience within a care‑based role
  • Warehouse experience
  • Health & Safety awareness

Personal Qualities

  • Friendly, approachable and reliable

  • Good attendance and timekeeping

Salary and Benefits

£13.05 per hour from 1st January 2026 (£13.45 per hour from 1st May 2026) + bonus + company benefits.

Legal and Screening Requirements

All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure. The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) provide that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’. Guidance about whether a conviction or caution should be disclosed can be found on the Ministry of Justice website. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimum requirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
