Customer Delivery Driver/Picker
Location: apetito UK, Coleraine, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
This role works 24 hours per week, any 3 days in 6, including bank holidays. Our drivers are the face of our business, delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to customers’ doors. Work is within a cold store at –20 °C, with protective clothing and breaks provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
- Pick orders within the cold store.
- Use our app to update delivery status.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Conduct pre‑shift van inspection.
- Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
- Clean and refuel the van as needed.
- Contact the office regarding discrepancies or delays.
- Maintain customer confidentiality.
- Assist the office and picking teams when required.
- Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
- Cover for absent or on‑holiday team members.
- Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers.
Essential
- Experience in a customer‑service‑based role.
- Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 2 years.
- Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
- Evidence of work stability.
- Basic secondary education.

- Experience of multi‑drop delivery.

Legal & Compliance
All offers of employment are subject to a driving assessment, driving licence checks and basic DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS disclosure. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route.
