We are looking for an exceptional Retail Sales and Operations Manager who will lead our team in the Birmingham territory. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, proactive, and have a positive outlook. Responsibilities
- Lead by example, support and enable the frontline team, empowering them to delight customers.
- Develop and support the team to talk passionately and knowledgeably about our food.
- Create an environment where the team respects and supports each other, striving to do their best for customers and colleagues.
- Prioritise the health and safety of your team members above all else.
Cost of Local Distribution (COLD)
- Deliver the agreed target for local distribution costs at the depot.
- Focus relentlessly on labour, vehicle, depot and local marketing costs.
- Review monthly performance with the Regional Manager and ensure actions are executed to stay on target.
Growing Sales
- Implement national campaign activities for new and existing customers.
- Ensure all CRM activities are executed.
- Implement local growth initiatives to deliver agreed targets (e.g., sheltered housing, CSA training).
Community Engagement
- Engage and immerse your team within the local community to support further sales growth.
- Partner with community organisations, local hospitals and healthcare professionals.
Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Establish exceptional relationships with customers.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering sales and profitability targets with a focus on high service standards.
- Lead a team, create an engaged culture, and develop staff to reach their potential.
- Interpret data to identify key levers for success.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in retail, care, hospitality or owning a business.
- Experience implementing and complying with health & safety processes.

Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English.
- At least 2 years of a UK manual driving licence.
