You will be working on the front line to pick and pack delicious and nutritious meals in our warehouse at the centre of our distribution network for Care Homes, Schools and Hospitals .
The ultimate goal is to provide a service to our customer that exceeds expectations while continuously improving efficiencies.
As an apetito employee you must always be willing to go above and beyond.
You'll be trained to use a voice picking system to pick orders in the freezer warehouse, which runs at -23 degrees.
We'll provide all the PPE to keep you warm and safe in the freezer.
The Warehouse team work to strict delivery deadlines so being efficient and able to work at pace is really important.
A reasonable amount of overtime, potentially on weekends, may be required (weekend and overtime shift allowances may apply.)

Responsibilities
- Replenishment of Empty pick locations.
- Loading Vehicles for delivery.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in all areas.
- Reporting of issues such as Health and Safety concerns, stock quality problems, and mechanical breakdowns.
- Ensuring frozen product is placed under minimal exposure to ambient temperatures.
- Picking and assembling orders in our coldstore which is -22/25 degrees with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- In loading stock for bulk storage.
About you
Essential
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Is able to demonstrate commitment and stability
- Flexible, good attendance and timekeeping
- Multi-skilled or willing to learn new skills
- Open and honest team player
- A flexible, motivated and committed individual with a "can do" approach
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to work within tight deadlines
- Must be able to manage with the demands of a high speed and high frequency factory 'picking' environment
Desirable
- Temperature controlled warehouse experience
- Experience of SAP/Voice picking systems
This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimumrequirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
