Embrace our remote-first culture that prioritises impact over location. Work from wherever you’re most productive, while enjoying meaningful connections with the team in London from time to time. We bring everyone together for inspiring sessions and great conversations over amazing food and events—because the best ideas often start with "what if?". You must be able to work in a UK timezone.

Role overview

We’re hiring a Performance UGC & Creator Manager to build and scale our performance-driven creative engine. This is not a traditional influencer manager role. This role sits at the intersection of:

  • Performance marketing
  • Creator sourcing
  • AI avatar systems
  • Creative iteration
  • Data-led testing

Your job is to systematically produce, source, test, and scale high-performing short-form creative — using both human creators and AI-native workflows. You will personally manage a direct report of 1, who has been leading our influencer program to date. You will work closely with:

  • The performance team (to understand what is actually converting)
  • Creative strategists (to refine angles and hypotheses)
  • Growth leads (to align on commercial priorities)

Key responsibilities

  • Creator sourcing & talent systems: Identify and recruit high-potential creators across TikTok, Instagram, and short-form platforms. Build and maintain a structured creator database tagged by niche, tone, persona, performance metrics, and repeatability. Distinguish between one-off viral creators and scalable talent. Develop repeatable onboarding systems for creators.
  • Performance-led UGC strategy: Translate performance insights into clear creative briefs. Identify winning hook patterns and scale them. Spot emerging trends before they saturate. Maintain structured tagging and testing frameworks for creative learnings. Ensure creator output aligns with commercial KPIs (not vanity metrics).
  • AI avatar & synthetic creator workflows: Actively research, test, and deploy AI avatar platforms such as HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, Runway, and emerging tools. Build hybrid workflows combining human hooks + AI bodies, AI script variations + human UGC, and voice cloning + synthetic edits. Prototype AI spokesperson systems quickly. Evaluate when AI creators outperform human UGC and when they don’t. Reduce production time and cost through structured AI usage. Push Aperture forward on AI adoption — this is an expectation, not optional.
  • Creative testing & iteration: Work with performance analysts to identify winning angles, kill underperforming patterns, and increase iteration velocity. Maintain a clear testing roadmap. Systematically generate hook variations at scale. Ensure every piece of creative has a defined hypothesis and success metric.
  • Creative supply velocity: Ensure creative production never bottlenecks performance. Create SLAs and structured timelines for UGC turnaround. Monitor fatigue, saturation, and scaling thresholds. Keep supply aligned with demand from the performance team.
  • Data literacy & performance awareness: Understand metrics such as CTR, hook rate, hold rate, cost per trial, and trial-to-paid. Interpret creative-level data in collaboration with performance. Flag when a creative “looks good” but harms downstream quality.
  • Compliance & risk awareness: Ensure creator claims comply with platform policies and vertical-specific rules. Manage brand safety in AI-generated and human content. Understand the commercial implications of refunds and low-LTV cohorts.

Experience

Experience managing creators, UGC campaigns, or performance creative at scale. Strong familiarity with short-form platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts). Demonstrable experience working with performance teams. Active experimentation with AI avatar and synthetic video tools. Experience in subscription apps or performance-led environments is a strong plus.

Skills and mindset

  • Deep pattern recognition in short-form content.
  • Data curious — you care about what converts.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools and experimenting frequently.
  • Systems thinker — you build repeatable processes.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments.
  • Clear communicator — especially when bridging creative and performance.
  • Not emotionally attached to “human-only” or “AI-only” approaches. This is not a vibes-based role. This is a performance-driven creative systems role.

What success looks like in 6 months

  • Faster UGC turnaround across accounts.
  • Clear creator archetypes identified and scaled.
  • AI avatar workflows actively reducing production time.
  • Creative fatigue reduced through systematic iteration.
  • Documented hook frameworks used across clients.
  • Measurable improvement in creative performance metrics.

Why this role matters

Creative is the biggest performance lever in paid acquisition. As signal quality declines and competition increases, scalable creative systems — including AI-native approaches — become critical. This role ensures Aperture stays ahead of creative fatigue, production bottlenecks, platform changes, and AI disruption. You’ll help define how performance creative works in 2026 and beyond.

Before you apply

We read every single application that comes through. As part of the application, we ask a few questions. We use these to get a real sense of how you think, how you work, and what you’ve actually experienced. This matters more to us than a perfectly polished CV. What you write here is your chance to stand out. Specific examples, clear thinking, and honest reflection go a long way. We can tell when answers are generic, over-polished, or written entirely with AI. We’re much more interested in how you approach problems than in the “right” wording. Take your time. Be thoughtful. Write from your own experience. Good luck.
