Work from anywhere

Embrace our remote‐first culture that prioritises impact over location. Work from wherever you're most productive, while enjoying meaningful connections with the team in London from time to time. We bring everyone together for inspiring sessions and great conversations over amazing food and events – because the best ideas often start with "what if?". You must be able to work in a UK time zone.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Growth Assistant to support the performance and growth teams and help keep execution fast, clean, and scalable as Aperture grows. This role is designed for someone who can learn quickly, grasp concepts effectively, and has demonstrated evidence of hustle and follow‐through. You don't need prior agency or paid media experience. You do need to be someone who enjoys figuring things out, keeping systems clean, and delivering high‐quality work without hand‐holding.

You'll work across campaign builds, creative operations, quality checks, and internal systems. You'll be close to real client work from day one, with real responsibility, support, and a steep learning curve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign builds and execution support
    • Support ad account builds and updates across platforms such as Meta and Google.
    • Prepare assets for launch, including resizing creatives and organising files.
    • Ensure campaigns follow required naming conventions and structures.
    • Assist with setting up ads, ad sets, and campaigns accurately and consistently.
  • Quality control and checks
    • Quality‐check builds before launch (links, formats, destinations, tracking, event setup).
    • Act as a second set of eyes to catch mistakes before they go live.
    • Help maintain a high standard of execution across all client work.
  • Reporting and operational support
    • Support reporting preparation and data hygiene (e.g., pulling data, checking consistency, organising inputs).
    • Assist the performance and growth teams with reporting inputs and checks.
    • Help keep internal documentation, trackers, and shared folders clean and up to date.
  • Research and process support
    • Assist with research tasks for creative and growth strategy.
    • Support experimentation by keeping inputs and outputs organised.
    • Help maintain internal tools and workflows (e.g., Asana, Notion), so nothing gets lost and nothing is duplicated.

Requirements

This role does not require prior experience in growth, marketing, paid media, or agencies. We care far more about learning speed and follow‐through than job titles. You might have:

  • Worked on side projects alongside university.
  • Studied something analytical, technical, or data‐adjacent.
  • Taught yourself skills outside formal education.
  • Built or organised things independently.
  • Proof that you can start things, figure them out, and finish them matters most.

Skills And Mindset

  • You learn fast and enjoy working things out without being spoon‐fed.
  • You're highly organised and detail‐oriented. You like clean systems, checklists, and doing things properly.
  • You're comfortable working with tools, structure, and process once you understand the "why".
  • You take pride in getting things right, even when the task feels small.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and don't let things slip through the cracks.
  • You have evidence of hustle: Side projects, self‐directed learning, running communities or initiatives.
  • Or yes, if you've ever been a raid leader / guild organiser / the person who actually gets things done in a game, that counts.
  • You're not precious about titles or tasks. You care about contributing and improving.

This is an entry‐level role with real responsibility. You'll be trusted early, supported closely, and expected to care deeply about quality and follow‐through.

What You'll Learn In This Role

  • How paid media accounts are structured and maintained.
  • How performance teams work with creative and growth.
  • How experiments are run, tracked, and iterated.
  • How to operate inside a fast‐moving growth environment without chaos.

Strong performers in this role naturally progress into performance, growth, or operations roles over time.

Before you apply

We read every single application that comes through. As part of the application, we ask a few questions. We use these to get a real sense of how you think, how you work, and what you've actually experienced. This matters more to us than a perfectly polished CV.

What you write here is your chance to stand out. Specific examples, clear thinking, and honest reflection go a long way. We can tell when answers are generic, over‐polished, or written entirely with AI. We're much more interested in how you approach problems than in the "right" wording.

Take your time. Be thoughtful. Write from your own experience. Good luck.
