Requirements
Role Overview
We\’re looking for a CRM Specialist who can design and execute lifecycle campaigns that drive real impact across mobile email, push, and in-app channels. You\’ll understand what nudges to send, when to send them, and how to tailor each one to the user\’s journey, intent, and mindset.
This role blends creativity with technical execution. You\’ll be responsible for designing flows, writing and briefing copy, building and segmenting audiences, and setting up triggers that create personalised, high-performing user journeys. You\’ll collaborate with product, creative, and growth teams to improve retention, monetisation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Own CRM strategy across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging for mobile products
- Design lifecycle campaigns for onboarding, re-engagement, upsell, and churn prevention
- Build and manage automated workflows using tools like Braze, Customer.io, or Iterable
- Collaborate with product and data teams to define behavioural triggers and segmentation
- Write, review, or brief performance-optimised CRM copy (or work with a copywriter)
- Test and optimise message timing, frequency, channels, and creative
- Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, CTAs, send times, and flow logic
- Monitor KPIs and iterate based on open rates, CVR, uninstalls, and downstream revenue
- Maintain clean, documented workflows and experiment logs in Notion/Asana
- Ensure messaging is aligned with product changes, marketing campaigns, and brand voice
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing (ideally mobile-focused)
- Hands-on experience with tools like Braze, Customer.io, Iterable, Klaviyo, or OneSignal
- Strong understanding of email and push best practices, timing, and deliverability
- Familiarity with event-based triggers, segmentation, and lifecycle mapping
- Proficient in using Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Firebase for behavioural insights
- Comfortable writing, editing, or briefing high-performance CRM copy
- Strong project management skills, able to manage campaigns from strategy to QA to deployment
- Deep understanding of user psychology, habit formation, and growth metrics (D1/D7, LTV, etc.)
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with product, growth, data, and creative teams
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over experimentation and performance
Bonus but not required
- Experience working on subscription apps or trial-to-paid journeys
- Knowledge of paywall strategies and monetisation mechanics
- Experience integrating MMP data (AppsFlyer, RevenueCat) into CRM reporting
- Familiarity with dynamic content or predictive targeting
- Ability to run reactivation or loyalty campaigns via SMS or WhatsApp
