Apera’s Private Debt strategy focuses on senior secured financings in the UK, Ireland, German-speaking Europe (DACH), the Nordic region, France and Benelux. Target investments range from €10 million to €150 million with emphasis on providing capital solutions to strong businesses which demonstrate downside resilience, competitive market positioning and attractive growth prospects.
The main focus of the Analyst role is to support the Finance Manager in the Fund finance team. In this role you will gain exposure to the private debt industry in a fast-growing business.
Responsibilities- Review of externally produced fund reporting and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with fund reporting requirements, industry standards and bank facilities
- Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to investors and senior internal stakeholders
- Facilitate in the production of fund performance reports and other investor reporting
- Work closely with consultants to ensure the fund’s compliance with tax regulations
- Coordinate and deliver external audit processes to completion
- Manage fund cashflows and ongoing investor communications
- Leverage the latest technology to drive process improvement
- Support the wider business on an ad-hoc basis
- Qualified accountant (0 – 2 years PQE)
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
In addition, the Analyst can be expected to have exposure to the CFO and CEO as required and to support the management of the Fund Finance function and platform generally.
