We’re looking for a Water Quality Senior Consultant to join our Freshwater Team. This is a technical, primarily desk-based role, where you’ll take the lead on projects that help clients manage and improve the quality of aquatic environments. You’ll design monitoring programmes, interrogate data and deliver clear, evidence-based advice to clients across Freshwater, transitional and marine settings.

What we’re looking for
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working in a commercial consultancy environment at a senior level
- A proven track record of delivering projects within budget and to a high standard
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from tendering through to delivery
- Technical expertise in water and sediment quality assessment, with experience in at least one of:
- Water quality impact assessments
- Monitoring and modelling
- Reservoir or catchment management
- Algal blooms, taste and odour, or nutrient budgeting
- Lake restoration
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience in water quality modelling (e.g. SIMCAT)
- A relevant higher degree
- Professional accreditation (or are working towards it)
