Base location: Letchworth office, hybrid with four days onsite per week.
Join our Group Services team to support a fast‑paced, data‑focused office where large volumes of ecological survey data are generated and managed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first‑line hardware and software support to local teams, manage new starter onboarding, and ensure systems run smoothly.
- Collaborate with the central IT team to deliver remote support across the wider group.
- Engage with staff at all levels—from field teams to senior leaders—where strong communication and a calm, helpful approach are essential.
- Previous experience providing IT support in commercial, academic, or similar environments.
- Confidence handling first‑line software and hardware queries.
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Strong communication skills and a people‑focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple queries and prioritise effectively.
- Willingness to work primarily on site in Letchworth and provide remote support across the group.
- Experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (WiFi, routers, switches).
- Experience working in a busy office or technical environment.
