The Role

Our Human Resources department coordinates our Investment in People strategy in which we currently hold Gold status, putting APCOA Parking Services within the top 1% of UK companies.
We are looking for highly customer-focused individuals to join our existing Customer Service Team in Wigan. As a Control Room Operative, you will provide professional and helpful responses to customers whilst maintaining the highest service standards.
Shift Pattern: Working 3 days out of 7 - Inclusive of weekends. 3 x 12 hour shifts, 3 days off and this will repeat. Working hours between 8AM - 8PM. 1x Hour Lunch, 2x 20 minute break.
What you'll do:
- Take inbound telephone calls
- Respond to email enquiries
- Take intercom calls
- Ensure the accuracy of information provided is paramount
- Certify accuracy and a high attention to detail
- Assisting with the Irish Clamp release
What you'll bring:
- Excellent customer services skills
- Effective listening to build rapport with our customers
- Be able to respond to enquiries in a professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to absorb new information
- Ability to multitask and adapt
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Experience of working in the parking industry is desirable but not essential
- Full accredited training will be provided to all successful candidates
