Are you a passionate, hands-on Training Manager who thrives on developing people and driving real business impact? We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to take ownership of regional training delivery, someone who is just as comfortable in a classroom with frontline teams as they are shaping strategy with senior stakeholders. This is a highly visible, business-critical role where you’ll act as a true partner to operations, helping to build capability, identify talent, and support long-term growth.
About the Role
As our Training Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of engaging, practical learning solutions across a diverse, nationwide workforce. This is not a desk-based role, you’ll be out in the business, understanding operational needs and delivering training that makes a difference. You’ll play a key role in embedding a strong learning culture, supporting succession planning, and ensuring training initiatives deliver measurable value.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading all regional training activity to improve performance and productivity
- Delivering face-to-face classroom training, particularly to frontline teams
- Designing engaging, blended learning solutions (including e-learning and bite-sized content)
- Conducting training needs analysis and building targeted development plans
- Partnering with operational leaders to align training with business goals
- Supporting talent development, succession planning, and internal progression
- Developing effective onboarding and induction programmes
- Collaborating with external training providers and industry bodies
- Staying ahead of industry, legislative, and organisational changes
What We’re Looking For:
We’re keen to speak with credible, confident L&D professionals who bring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery experience. You’ll ideally have:
- +3 years proven experience as a Training Manager or L&D professional
- Strong background delivering classroom-based training to frontline staff
- Experience designing blended learning solutions (including digital content)
- A relevant L&D or management qualification
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously
- A proactive, innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Parking background would be advantageous, but not essential
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a business that genuinely values learning and development
- Play a key role in shaping future talent and organisational growth
- Enjoy a varied, people-focused role with real autonomy
- Opportunity to make a visible impact across a national operation
