A vacancy has arisen working at our site in Hull for a Car Park and Security Maintenance Operative. You will be expected to maintain the car park & equipment to the required safety & security standards. You will also provide a professional and courteous service to customers, the client and other users of the car park.
What you'll do:
- Effectively deal with client and customer enquiries on site where possible or refer clients to the appropriate level of management within APCOA.
- Ensure site is kept clean, tidy and hazard free at all times carrying out routine litter patrols.
- Report any element of car park service that might compromise our level of service.
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer care and early response to the help points.
- Assist with tasks within the car park as requested and support other members of the team.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform basic repairs on machines, equipment or structures as necessary.
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Perform regular security patrols of the property.
- Monitor surveillance equipment inspecting equipment and access points.
- Complete reports by recording observations, incidents and information.
- Ensure property is safe & secure during closed hours.
What you'll bring:
- Experience performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Strong organisational and follow up skills.
- Driving license preferred.
