As front line operational staff, the Truck Driver will meet the service level requirements of the Dublin Parking Mobility Services (DPMS) contract with Dublin City Council by removing and clamping illegally parked vehicles found within areas under the Councils control.

Dublin City Council Area | In excess of 47,500 Euros per annum

This is not a long-distance or long-haul driving role. All work is carried out within the Dublin City Council area, meaning no overnight stays, no nationwide routes and no spending days away from home. We are looking for experienced, full-time dependable drivers who want well-paid work while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional removal and transport of illegally parked, abandoned, obstructing or enforcement-related vehicles throughout the Dublin City Council area using specialist recovery and transport equipment. You will work alongside enforcement teams and operational staff to carry out scheduled and responsive vehicle removals safely, efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.

You will be expected to:

  • Remove and transport vehicles in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Carry out duties in accordance with the Road Traffic Acts and relevant traffic byelaws.
  • Work collaboratively with enforcement and operational teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow operational procedures.
  • Provide professional customer service when dealing with members of the public.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
  • Represent the service professionally and consistently.
  • Support parking enforcement.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvements and remain open to feedback.
  • Treat colleagues and members of the public with dignity, respect and professionalism.
