We're looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of our Security and Parking Services across Bedfordshire NHS Hospital sites.
This is a high profile role where you'll take ownership of day to day operations, ensuring contractual performance, service quality and financial objectives are achieved.
Working closely with the client and internal stakeholders, you'll lead and develop a diverse operational team while driving continuous improvement across the contract.

What you'll be doing
As Contract Manager, you'll be responsible for the day to day operational management of the contract, ensuring service delivery, compliance and financial performance meet both client and APCOA expectations.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing the daily operation across multiple hospital sites.
- Leading, motivating and developing operational teams.
- Planning resources to ensure service levels are consistently achieved.
- Monitoring KPIs and implementing continuous improvements.
- Managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
- Resolving operational issues, complaints and contractual matters.
- Building strong relationships with NHS stakeholders and attending client meetings.
- Managing recruitment, performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Conducting appraisals and identifying training and development needs.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, company policies and contractual requirements.
- Producing daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Minimum 2 years' management experience within the security industry or a similar operational management role.
- Current SIA Licence.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Experience monitoring KPIs and delivering operational improvements.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- First Aid qualification.
- Knowledge of current SIA and Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience within a client-facing contract environment.
- CCTV Control Room experience.
- Experience coaching and developing teams.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
