A Snapshot of Your Day
As our Management Accountant, you'll start your day reviewing transaction entries across our German and Jersey entities, ensuring everything is properly recorded. You'll dive into account reconciliations, meticulously matching balances and investigating discrepancies. During month-end, you'll coordinate the closing process, preparing consolidated financial statements that provide a clear picture of our financial health. You'll analyze performance data, creating insightful management reports that translate complex numbers into actionable business intelligence. Working closely with international teams, you'll provide financial expertise that drives strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with German HGB standards and Jersey regulatory requirements.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Own the complete bookkeeping cycle for our German and Jersey entities, maintaining impeccable financial records from daily transactions through to year-end closing.
- Deliver comprehensive management accounting reports that provide critical insights for business planning and performance evaluation.
- Ensure financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions, safeguarding the company against regulatory risks.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations.
- Bridge communication between finance and non-financial departments, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end bookkeeping processes.
- Business fluent German language skills (written and verbal) - essential for navigating German accounting requirements.
- Demonstrable expertise in German accounting standards (HGB) and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and/or Navigen software.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
- Experience working with multiple currencies and international accounting requirements.
