A Snapshot of Your Day
As our Paralegal, you will serve as a vital link in our legal operations, providing comprehensive support to the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary. Your day will involve managing corporate housekeeping activities across our global entities, coordinating document execution processes, and supporting various legal and compliance initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure governance compliance, manage intellectual property matters, and contribute to the smooth operation of the Legal and Compliance Department.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Safeguard the Group's legal interests by providing meticulous corporate housekeeping and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Support critical corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through data room management and document coordination.
- Oversee the administrative management of the Group's valuable intellectual property portfolio.
- Coordinate internal transformation projects led by the Legal and Compliance Department.
- Provide administrative support for the Group's insurance portfolio, including claims handling and renewal processes.
- Ensure governance compliance for all relevant transactions and coordinate Powers of Attorney issuance.
- Support budget management, cost monitoring, and invoice processing for the Legal Department.
- Draft essential documents including letters and Powers of Attorney while contributing to internal process development.
- Maintain and update legal reporting tools, procedures, and governance policies.
What You Bring
Experience & Skills- Proven experience as a paralegal in a law firm and/or international company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to draft clear documents.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments in an international environment.
- Fluency in English; a second language (preferably German) is an advantage.
- Confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels and across nationalities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Responsiveness and ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills to create clear, concise documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, diplomacy, communication, and teamwork.
