Security and Parking Officer

Security and Parking Officer – Bedford Hospital – 40 Hours per week – £23,795.20 per Annum

Security and Parking Officers are essential for access control and safety for patients and staff. As a Security Officer, you will protect the hospital against loss, theft, and damage. You will monitor and patrol the car parks, provide clear directions, and deliver excellent customer service to both the public and staff within the hospital.

Please note, shifts will be on a rotation basis: 2-3 weeks on days and 2-3 weeks on nights, 5 days a week including weekends.

What you will do:

• Provide safety and car park patrol services to our NHS hospital clients.
• Patrol the hospital site to ensure safety and security.
• Assist in the efficient operation of the car park and control room, aiming for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work in a fast-paced yet caring environment.
