We’re looking for 2 Base Supervisors to lead and support our team of Civil Enforcement Officers delivering parking enforcement services, one at our High Wycombe base and the other at Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping the borough moving safely and efficiently while developing and supporting a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a contract-based team of Civil Enforcement Officers.
  • Oversee daily operations across the enforcement contract.
  • Ensure operational and contractual requirements are consistently met.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Manage team performance, including appraisals, training, and disciplinary investigations.
  • Conduct fleet checks to ensure vehicles are safe, compliant, and suitable for operational use.
  • Verify driver check sheets and operational documentation.
  • Ensure reports, statements, and incident paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety for yourself and the wider team.
  • Ensure activities align with company policy, contract specifications, and client expectations.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience in parking enforcement, local authority services, or regulated operational environments would be highly beneficial.
  • Occasional travel within Buckinghamshire, candidates with Driving Licence preferred.
