Temporary Civil Enforcement Officer

Location: Skegness

Hours: 45 hours per week

Contract Length: Fixed Term Contract (until 31st October 2026)

Salary: £12.77 per hour

*This role is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent after 31st October 2026.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for ensuring that all drivers follow parking policies on public streets and in car parks.
• You will ensure emergency vehicle access is not blocked, and the road is safe for all members of the public.

Civil Enforcement Officers patrol public streets and local council car parks to ensure that car parking regulations are being followed. You would issue Penalty Charge Notices, report defective signs and road markings, identify and report abandoned vehicles, and advise motorists where required.

What will you bring?

• Excellent customer service and communication skills with an appropriate level of English.
• A desire to work outdoors as you could be walking quite long distances in all weathers on patrol.
• A full UK clean drivers’ licence is essential as this will make you deployable to other enforceable locations in one of our company vehicles.

• 45 hours per week | Any 5 from 7
• One late shift per week will be 11.30 – 21.30 the other 4 shifts will be daytime hours notified in advance.
