The Role
Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Coventry Building Society Arena
Salary: ÂŁ28,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days over 7, including weekends)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day running of on-site car park operations at the Coventry Building Society Arena. This is a hands-on role requiring a dynamic individual who can manage staff, coordinate logistics, and deliver excellent service during both standard operations and major events.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the daily operation of car parks at the CBS Arena
•Oversee a team of staff provided by APCOA, ensuring high standards of service
•Coordinate staffing and operational requirements in line with the arena’s event calendar
•Deliver staff training and inductions as required
•Lead and manage the matchday parking team
•Support the events team with planning and logistics for future events
•Monitor and report on equipment maintenance and operational issues
•Handle customer enquiries and provide effective solutions
•Collate and deliver post-event feedback and operational reports
•Assist with payroll processing and staffing records
•Maintain accurate documentation using Excel and internal systems
Key Requirements:
•Strong organisational and coordination skills
•Confident in leading and motivating a team
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
•Experience in operational or event coordination preferred
•Excellent communication and customer service skills
•Flexible and willing to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule
