An opening has arisen to work as part of the onsite APCOA Management team at Luton Airport as a Service Delivery Supervisor. This role is vital to support the day-to-day operations within the Airport. You will be responsible for assisting the SMD with managing and motivating a large team, whilst ensuring the smooth running of operations and the service we offer.
Please note the working shift pattern for this role is 4 shifts on then 4 off – 2 days shifts then 2 night shifts.
What you’ll do:
- To monitor and manage the day-to-day operations, consisting of car parks, Priority parking and the bussing operation, along with the SDM on shift, taking the lead in their absence.
- To plan and allocate staff across the entire operation ensuring resources are deployed to the areas of most need during the working day.
- To be first point of contact for any customer issues that arise on site.
- To maintain strong communications and consult daily with the Operations Manager, Service Delivery Manager & Transport Supervisor/Manager, seeking assistance and agreeing on actions to resolve outstanding issues.
- To maintain a standard of attitude and behaviour that will always represent the company in the best possible light.
- To comply with company policy and procedures, health and safety law and other relevant legislation.
- To organise, manage, and motivate the team on shift across the APCOA operation.
- To carry out the cash collection, processing, and associated tasks on site.
- To be the primary contact for all clients and suppliers in the absence of the SDM and take on any responsibilities of the SDM.
What you’ll bring:
- Recent team management experience.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team.
