What you can expect
You’ll be helping members of the public, patrolling streets and council car parks, advising and upholding parking restrictions. You’ll issue parking tickets, but you won’t have targets; this job is about creating a positive impact on the local neighbourhood.
- Report any defects to street furniture, such as signs and road markings, and look out for violations of civil laws
- Keep a detailed log of violations and debrief incidents that occur during your shift
- Provide a high level of all‑round customer service, giving the public useful information and advice
- Speak to people in a friendly but effective way, demonstrating excellent customer care skills
A full UK manual license or CBT license is desirable.
Training and Career Progression
Full training will be provided for the right candidate. Many current managers started as Civil Enforcement Officers, offering a clear pathway for career development.

Salary: £32,708 per annum / £14.80 per hour
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 5 days of 7 as per rota
