If so, an exciting opening has arisen for a Parking Patrol Officer to join our Network Rail team based at Cardiff Central Quay MSCP. The aim of the role is to provide security patrols, resolve customer concerns and maintain the company standards of quality, cleanliness and safety. Flexible working hours including days, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
What you will do:
- Provide a high standard of customer service to all car park users.
- Issue penalty charge notices where required.
- Apply problem solving skills to resolve problems and answer customer questions with empathy and on a timely basis.
- Undertake foot patrols of the car park.
- Assist customers in distress or in need of other assistance.
- Monitor activity on the car park and deter any criminal activity.
- Maintain good relations with all customers and internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with the Supervisor to recommend changes in order to avoid recurring problems.
- Regulate entry and exit of vehicles to and from car park.
- Monitor the appearance of the designated car park, taking action to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained including litter picks and weeding as required.
- Carry out any other duties as designated by the Supervisor/Manager.
