The Role
Security and Parking Officers are essential for access and safety for patients and staff. As a Security Officer, you will protect the hospital against loss, theft, and damage; monitor and patrol the car parks; give clear directions; and provide customer service to both the public and staff within the hospital. Shifts will be on a rotation basis: days and nights, 5 days a week, including some weekends.
What you will do:
- Provide safety and car park patrolling provision to NHS hospital clients.
- Patrol the hospital site ensuring the safety and security of the site and its users.
- Play a role in the efficient running of the car park and control room, working toward continuous progress in these areas.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced but caring environment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current, valid SIA licence.
- Must be 18 or over.
- Experience in customer service (preferred).
- Background in security (preferred).
