Camarco London, the Capital Markets division of APCO, is growing and looking to hire a Project Consultant to work across a wide range of sectors including Financial Services and Energy. The role sits within a leading corporate and financial communications consultancy that protects and promotes its clients’ reputations, helping them communicate with all critical stakeholders to meet business and social objectives.
The Role
- Project Consultants carry out day‑to‑day account activities that provide efficient and high‑quality support to the team.
- The role requires strong organization, discretion, and a keen interest in Financial PR.
- Previous experience is not required, but the successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of business within the City and a basic interest in Financial PR.
Responsibilities
- Competent administrator, supporting team to ensure effective day‑to‑day running of client accounts; demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Complete work accurately and to agreed deadlines.
- Proactive and demonstrate an eagerness to help others.
- Demonstrate strong team skills both internally with colleagues and externally with clients, journalists and analysts.
- Show an interest in and follow market news and the news agenda for clients.
- Learn to use platforms such as Roxhill and Bloomberg.
- Submit news releases and results via RNS and/or other primary information providers both from the office and during out of hours.
- Prepare research and provide support to new business proposals.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a keen interest in Financial PR/Comms and a passion for writing and storytelling.
- Copywriting skills: the role requires fluency in writing effectively for corporates.
- Respond to client demands, which includes the requirement to work irregular hours at specific times of the year.
- Be an ambassador for Camarco.

- At least 1–3 years of experience in public relations or related fields.
- A keen interest in financial and business topics, along with the ways businesses connect and interact with stakeholders.
- Strong awareness of current affairs and global issues.
