Camarco London, the Capital Markets division of APCO, is growing and looking to hire a Project Consultant to work across a wide range of sectors including Financial Services and Energy. Project Consultants carry out day-to-day account activities which provide efficient and high-quality support to the rest of the team. Previous experience is not necessary, although the successful candidate will be expected to show an understanding of business and the City as well as a basic understanding and interest in Financial PR.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Expected To:
- Be a competent administrator, supporting the team to ensure effective day-to-day running of client accounts; demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Complete work accurately and to agreed deadlines.
- Be proactive and demonstrate an eagerness to help others.
- Demonstrate strong team skills both internally with colleagues and externally with clients, journalists and analysts.
- Show an interest in and follow market news and the news agenda for clients.
- Learn to use platforms such as Roxhill and Bloomberg.
- Submit news releases and results via RNS and/or other primary information providers both from the office and during out of hours.
- Prepare research and provide support to new business proposals.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a keen interest in Financial PR/Comms and a passion for writing and storytelling.
- Respond to client demands, which includes the requirement to work irregular hours at specific times of the year.
- Be an ambassador for Camarco.
Qualifications:
- At least 1–3 years of experience in public relations or related fields, preferred but not required.
- A keen interest in financial and business topics, along with the ways businesses connect and interact with stakeholders.
- Strong awareness of current affairs and global issues.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication abilities.
- Impeccable attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- A track record of thriving in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
