You will contribute to strategic advisory work, content development, campaigns, business development and account management activities.This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, sectors and stakeholders, as well as opportunities to collaborate with APCO colleagues across the UK and internationally.Responsibilities and duties:Advisory and consultancyProviding regular strategic counsel to clients, prospects and colleagues (written and verbal)Research into key client themes and industry/communications trends to benefit our clientsProduce data-led and insight-driven reports and presentations for clients and prospects to aid strategic decision-makingDeliver insight into what forms part of engaging and effective stakeholder communications, particularly onlineDraft and/or contribute to credentials, proposals, request for proposal (RFP) responses and other business development activities Support the development and execution of digital strategies for key clients, with support from wider account teams and the broader digital team Account/client managementBe the first point of contact for clients, escalating and looping in the wider team as and where requiredLiaise with internal client teams to ensure account and client expectations are metCraft meeting materials such as presentations to bring together activities and progress across internal teams for presentation to the clientCapture key client feedback and decisions, to aid clients and colleaguesQualifications and Skills:Minimum of 4 years' experience in a digital or online communications roleStrong understanding of corporate communications and the regulatory landscapeExperience across social media, corporate websites and emerging digital communications trends, combined with a passion for the evolving digital landscapeAwareness of and interest in the evolving AI and generative engine optimisation (GEO) landscapeHands-on experience planning and delivering paid social media campaigns, from audience and budget strategy through to execution, optimisation and reportingExperience using digital monitoring, analytics and collaboration tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker, GA4, Canva and MiroExcellent written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop content for a range of corporate stakeholders while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate internal and external stakeholders effectivelyConfident presenting insights, recommendations and points of view to colleagues and clientsExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholdersDemonstrates curiosity, creativity and commercial awareness, with an interest in current affairs, politics and marketing communicationsPosting Date: 2026-08-10
