To provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial management information to support effective decision-making across APC Cardiovascular. The Management Accountant will have responsibility for both hands-on transactional finance processing and higher-level management accounting, including the preparation of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis. The role will work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations and wider management team to support business performance, growth, and profitability.
Qualifications
- Degree-level education in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Part-qualified or qualified management accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within an SME environment.
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial information clearly.
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Interest in improving systems, processes, and ways of working through technology and automation.
