Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications and integrated systems. Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements. Support SIT, UAT, deployment verification, and production validation activities to ensure system readiness and stability. Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management and project tracking tools. Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, project managers, and business users to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Conduct manual testing for web-based applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise systems to validate system functionality and workflows. Support automation testing initiatives and assist in executing automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright where applicable. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST API platforms to validate request and response data. Prepare and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test reports, defect reports, and test evidence for audit purposes. Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and overall quality status effectively to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Experience in writing structured and detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Basic knowledge or exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST APIs, and JSON validation.
- Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, TestRail, or Confluence.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality.
