We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Science Lab Assistant to support the development and delivery of engaging science demonstrations and educational activities. This part‑time role is ideal for candidates with a strong science background who enjoy hands‑on work in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and support science demonstrations and interactive exhibits
- Co‑teach and assist instructors during science demonstration sessions
- Prepare, purchase, organise, and maintain demonstration materials and equipment
- Communicate effectively with teachers and students, including basic website content management
- Support project coordination and other related tasks as assigned by the project team
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related discipline (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Engineering)
- Experience in a science classroom or educational setting is an advantage
- Strong communication, organisational, writing, and proofreading skills
- Native or near‑native proficiency in English
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- A positive team player with a collaborative mindset
Employment Details
- Work Schedule: Approximately 14 hours per week (around 2 days per week)
