The Research Assistant supports research projects by assisting with data collection, analysis, documentation, and reporting. The role works closely with project leads and stakeholders to ensure research activities are conducted accurately, ethically, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of research studies
- Conduct literature reviews and data collection (e.g. surveys, interviews, administrative data)
- Support data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation of findings
- Maintain research documentation and databases in accordance with project requirements
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and research outputs
- Coordinate logistics for research activities, meetings, and workshops
- Ensure compliance with research ethics and data protection guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Prior research experience (academic, policy, or applied research) preferred
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with statistical or qualitative analysis software is an advantage (e.g. SPSS, R, Stata, NVivo)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Up to 1-year contract position, subject to renewal based on performance and organisational needs
- Successful candidates may be required to undergo background or security checks
- Training and guidance will be provided
