Summary of Job Scope:
New Business Development through investment
Salary Range: SGD 3,500 – 4,500 per month (Basic)
Requirement:
1–3 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Deal Advisory
Scope of Work:
- Develop a pipeline of new business and M&A opportunities based on strategic priorities in Southeast Asia
- Conduct industry and company research and analysis
- Perform feasibility studies for investment cases (e.g. valuation, peer analysis)
- Build and maintain financial models for potential M&A targets
- Conduct regular market surveys and analyse technologies/companies
- Review start-up equity investment opportunities
- Support deal teams in due diligence, financial analysis, and negotiations
- Assist in strategic initiatives across the company
- Prepare transaction reviews and approval materials for Senior Management and the Partnership Board
- Monitor post-acquisition performance and provide reporting and recommendations
- Support corporate strategy processes and ad hoc tasks under direct management of the MD (including strategic events such as annual regional conferences)
Key Competencies:
- Experience in Corporate Development or M&A
- Diligent, positive, and outgoing personality
- Strong English communication skills
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Basic accounting knowledge (ability to read Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow statements)
- Willingness to travel internationally if required
