Business Analyst Manager

Experienced in Distribution Healthcare industry

Job Purpose

We are looking for a commercially focused and analytical Business Analysis Manager to support data‑driven decision‑making and improve overall business performance.

This role will be responsible for generating actionable insights, enhancing operational effectiveness, analysing customer and market trends, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1) Business Performance Management
  • Analyse sales results, profitability, inventory levels, and operational performance to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Track business performance against budgets and recommend actions to improve results and support budget achievement.
  • Prepare concise decision papers and presentations for senior management, turning complex analysis into clear recommendations and options.
  • Support regular business review presentations for management.
  • 2) Customer & Commercial Analytics
  • Analyse customer buying patterns, purchasing behavior, and product usage trends to identify business opportunities and risk areas.
  • Build customer segmentation models based on factors such as revenue contribution, specialty, purchase frequency, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer retention, cross‑selling, and account growth.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations teams by providing customer insights and data‑backed recommendations.
  • Conduct pricing, product, and customer profitability analysis to support commercial decisions.
  • 3) Strategic Planning & Business Partnering
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
  • Prepare business cases and financial models to assess new products, tenders, and investment opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to management to support growth and decision‑making.
  • 4) Data Management & Process Improvement
  • Ensure business data integrity, accuracy, and governance across systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve business processes for greater efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, commercial finance, business intelligence, or strategic planning, preferably within the medical device, healthcare or distribution industry.
  • Proven experience in a Business Analysis role with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft D365 is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
  • Commercially driven with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
