Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Test Manager to support and coordinate software testing activities, ensuring system quality, functionality, and reliability.
You will assist the Test Manager in leading a team of Test Engineers, managing testing activities, mentoring team members, and working closely with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate SIT, UAT, Regression, DR, and other testing activities.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and manual testing.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Manage defect tracking, triage, and resolution with development teams.
- Support automation testing (Playwright preferred) and basic API testing using Postman/REST APIs.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Developers, System Engineers, and Business Users.
- Report testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Mentor Test Engineers and monitor testing progress.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 3–4 years of software testing/QA experience.
- At least 2 years of team leadership and mentoring experience.
- At least 2 years of customer-facing/stakeholder management experience.
- Experience in enterprise or government projects is an advantage.
