Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duty Officer/Receptionist to be responsible for delivering a person-centred, supportive service that will engage and empower our residents to develop domestic, social and life skills that will prepare and enable them to live independently. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours/week between 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Requirements
- Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
- Experience working within mental health services.
- Experience working within a supportive mental health service.
- Good knowledge of mental health diagnoses and dual diagnosis.
- Excellent telephone manner and grasp of the English language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate appropriately with people at all levels and capacities.
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
- Thirst for knowledge, strive for excellence, and a humble posture of learning.
