Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, multi-skilled and highly motivated Maintenance Multi-trader to contribute to the delivery of maintenance and facilities services to vulnerable adults who suffer from enduring mental health. You will have relevant hands-on experience and qualifications, with an ethos of continuous improvement to achieve exceptional high standards. This is a full-time, mostly static role, covering 37.5 hours per week.
Key Requirements
- Trade related qualification, such as in carpentry or plumbing, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a hands-on role, OR a minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in a trade, with a high level of demonstrable competency.
- Full, clean driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Experience investigating maintenance issues.
- Good understanding of COSHH regulations.
- Good understanding of RIDDOR.
- Good understanding of security measures procedures.
- Good understanding of Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992.
- Strong written and verbal command of the English language.
- Digital literacy to use tablets and online platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
- A genuine desire to want to make a difference and help disadvantaged individuals to live meaningful and purposeful lives.
