You will oversee the support offered to our residents, ensuring that the service is engaging and empowering. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours/week, on a fixed term basis.Key Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or vocational qualification in health and social care.
- 2 years’ experience managing support staff, incidents and difficult situations with resilience within a high supported mental health environment.
- 2 years’ experience working with other professionals involved with supporting a client.
- 5 years’ experience working with clients with enduring mental health, challenging behaviours, complex needs and substance misuse.
- Understanding of the roles of statutory agencies involved in mental health.
- Excellent knowledge of mental health conditions; dual diagnoses; equality, diversity and safeguarding procedures; quality assurance and compliance; support planning and risk assessment/management plans.
- Strong computer skills and digital dexterity.
- Experience in using Customer Relationship Management systems and databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate appropriately with people at all levels and capacities.
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
