Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, multi-skilled and highly motivated Maintenance Multi-trader to contribute to the delivery of maintenance and facilities services to vulnerable adults who suffer from enduring mental health. You will have relevant hands‑on experience and qualifications, with an ethos of continuous improvement to achieve exceptional high standards. This is a full-time, mostly static role, covering 37.5 hours per week.
Key Requirements
- Trade related qualification, such as in carpentry or plumbing, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a hands‑on role, OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a trade, with a high level of demonstrable competency.
- Full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Experience investigating maintenance issues.
- Good understanding of COSHH regulations.
- Good understanding of RIDDOR.
- Good understanding of security measures procedures.
- Good understanding of Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992.
- Strong written and verbal command of the English language.
- Digital literacy to use tablets and online platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
- A genuine desire to want to make a difference and help disadvantaged individuals to live meaningful and purposeful lives.
