We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping department within our esteemed hotel. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established protocols.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness or service promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a housekeeping role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is highly desirable.
• Flexibility in working hours is required, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
