We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, presentation, and service across our property.
The Role
As Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring our guest rooms, event spaces, and public areas consistently meet 5-star standards. You will lead, train, and inspire a dedicated team while working closely with other departments to support seamless weddings and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the housekeeping team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across all guest rooms, suites, and public areas
- Oversee laundry, linen, and inventory management
- Ensure all rooms and event spaces are prepared to the highest standard for weddings and functions
- Implement and monitor cleaning schedules, procedures, and health & safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
- Manage budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Work collaboratively with front office, maintenance, and events teams
About You
- Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role within a 4 or 5-star hotel or similar luxury environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, particularly during large-scale weddings and events
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
