You’ll work across a variety of sectors - finance, retail, hospitality, health and sport - and your week could involve hands-on development, mentoring teammates, collaborating with designers, product owners or even the sales team, and helping define emerging requirements with clients.
As a Senior Developer at Apadmi, you’ll lead both the technical and collaborative aspects of projects. You’ll own solutions end-to-end, guide your team through agile processes, and mentor others to deliver maintainable, high-quality applications. Beyond development, you’ll support client engagement, technical decision-making, and the growth of new business opportunities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in a way that can be easily understood and extended by others.
- Lead technical delivery on projects across sectors such as finance, retail, hospitality, health and sport
- Take ownership of end-to-end features, including architecture, implementation, maintainability, and readability
- Facilitate and actively contribute to agile ceremonies such as refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
- Mentor and coach other developers, particularly graduates or less-experienced team members, to ensure high-quality delivery
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product owners, project managers, and clients
- Manage technical decisions with awareness of budget, timelines, and risk while maintaining strong client relationships
- Establish and maintain project and organisational standards, including CI/CD pipelines, design patterns, and coding best practices
- Support the business by contributing to bids, proposals, estimations, and new project setup when required

- Confidently kick off new projects from scratch, including setting up CI/CD pipelines, defining architecture, implementing design patterns, and submitting apps to the app store
- Ensures team members consistently follow project and organisational standards and best practices
- Comfortable facilitating discussions and decisions around unfamiliar technologies and systems
- Delivers projects on time and to specification, with clean, maintainable solutions that are easy for others to understand, onboard to, and hand over
