Overview
We are seeking two experienced Integration Engineers to support the integration of IT platforms following the acquisition of one organisation by another. This is a hands-on contract role focused on surveying, planning, and delivering the integration of systems across both environments, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey and assess existing IT platforms, infrastructure, and applications across both organisations
- Design and plan system migration and integration activities following takeover
- Integrate Windows-based platforms, hardware, and software environments
- Support and execute migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Work closely with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor
- Clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, and plans to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Produce clear documentation covering system assessments, integration plans, and progress updates
- Travel to UK client sites as required during the engagement
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role in M&A, carve-out, or takeover scenarios
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows platforms
- Solid understanding of IT hardware and software environments
- Experience surveying existing systems and defining integration or migration strategies
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider delivery teams
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to UK sites as needed
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experience working with development component sets or development environments
- Exposure to application integration or modernisation activities
