Job Description
QA Engineer
Milton Keynes (hybrid)
£25,000 – £30,000
We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our clients growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and quality of our clients software through rigorous manual testing and collaboration with product owners, developers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute and maintain manual test cases to validate functionality and performance
- Identify, document and track defects through to resolution
- Support regression and user acceptance testing activities
- Provide clear and concise feedback to technical and non-technical team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation
Skills:
- Proven in experience in testing within a software development environment
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning and tools
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting for regression and functional testing
- Excellent communication skills
- Experienced at using bug tracking tools and version control systems
- Familiarity with Agile software development
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (ideally Azure)
- ISTQB certification would be ideal
