Our mobile and web development client based in Scotland are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to join their expanding team working on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work with the Project Management team to own and manage the delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Regularly review the team's progress on development sprints to identify opportunities to optimise ticket assignments or approach, providing recommendations to Project Management and the development team.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, scope work, and provide accurate estimates for project proposals and statements of work.
- Hands-on software development and being a fallback point for the team of technical expertise.
It is expected that you will have at least 5 years recent development experience of React.js, Node.js, AWS and Docker with at least 2 of those years working as a Lead Developer within an agency environment.
